On July 17th, one of the most loved events of the school, Cheongsimjae was held. During this day, was a time for many clubs, classes, and student organizations to have fundraising booths or raise awareness about a specific organization. The Cheongshim parent organization also used this day to hold their sales for funding. Because of these, the students could participate in many fun events and buy what they wanted from the booths. Many students could be seen on this day, either running around busily to take care of their organizations or roaming around searching for what they wanted.
The largest and the most profitable booth was obviously by the Cheongshim parent organization. Like every year, the parent organization makes various types of delicious food like chicken skewers, tteokbokki, slushies, and other products. Students used coupons that they previously bought with cash to buy these various products. The chicken skewers were the most popular out of all the food, with students waiting in line for 30 minutes just for one. A long line also appeared behind the tteokbokki stand. One peculiar thing about the food sale was the free meals for the seniors. All senior students were given a coupon that allowed them to have any meal they wanted for free. This was to congratulate them on their last year in high school and to wish them good luck on their college applications. The parent organization also held a small sale at the entrance of the school, selling products that were donated by parents. These products included meringues, silver rings, and even new school uniforms. Though not as popular as the chicken skewers, most of these products sold out during the day.
The student organizations and clubs also held small booths, mostly selling food and drinks or holding small events for fundraising. Student organizations mostly held events for fundraising in the gym. The events held included the planning department (holding blind dates for two random students each) and the athletics department (doing a maid cafe). The planning department especially received a lot of attention, as many of the blind dates were flustered around each other. The promotion department also attracted a lot of attention because of their photo booth. The photo booth wasn’t what sparked attention, it was that the principal was offering to take pictures with the students who paid. However, many clubs also took this time to earn money for future events. Although there were some clubs having activities, most sold drinks like melon soda, iced tea, and grape ade. Entertaining competition also arose from clubs near each other, each club dragging potential customers over to their booth. Due to the participation of many students, most clubs were able to make a profit from this day.

While the student organization and the club booths were typically staffed and organized by high schoolers, middle schoolers also had the chance to make their booth. On the third floor, each middle school class made a booth in the classroom for others to enjoy. The booths they had were mostly fun activities. Popular activities included slime-making ( in one 9th-grade class) and a horror escape room(held in a couple of classes). Slime-making was especially popular, even needing a waitlist for the people who wanted to participate. Middle schoolers, as well as high schoolers, had the entire day to explore activities that they were interested in. Even teachers stopped by once in a while, tempted by the fun and entertaining activities that the middle school students planned out. One difference between the class booths and the club and student organization booths was that the middle schooler’s purpose wasn’t to make money. Some of these class booths even held their activities for a small cost or for free. Though these didn't earn as much profit for the classes as much as the student organizations or the parents did, the middle schoolers had fun even while working in their booth.
Cheongsimjae, the yearly festival was once again, a memorable day for all teachers, parents, and students. Students, near the end of the festival, gathered in each of their classrooms and took time to rest or chat with each other. However, each of them had smiles on their faces, enthusiastically talking about the activities that they did or what funny things they saw throughout the day. Though the rainy weather did cause changes in some of the activities, it didn’t damper the enthusiasm or passion of all of the students.
