School Trips: A Way to Grow Global Leadership

After the mid-term exam has ended, Cheongshim middle school students are excited about a new event. Aside from the Azalea festival, which was hosted on April 30th where students feasted on various food and refreshments, there is a big event coming up: the school trip. Grade 7 will go to Jeju Island, grade 8 to Osaka, and grade 9 to Singapore.

Grade 7 students are especially excited about this trip since it is their first time going on a week-long trip. Grade 8 students are also very thrilled because it’s their first time going to a foreign country as a CSIA field trip. And lastly for grade 9, they are both excited and a little bit bittersweet since it is their last time going on a school trip as a middle school student.

Let’s take a look at a grade 8 student’s schedule for their trip to Osaka, Japan. They will eat various Japanese foods such as sushi and tofu nabe. They will also get to visit the Universal Studio, Osaka Castle and deer park. They will be staying at the Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka and all of the trips are going to last from Monday to Friday.

As they had a hard time preparing for the exam, the students expect to have a great time overseas and try their best at the upcoming finals.
