As a student at CSIA, I’ve noticed many high schoolers participating in the official Broadcasting club, CBN. This club is responsible for overseeing all of the school's broadcasting equipment and ensuring that all events and activities are properly documented and shared with the school community.
CBN is structured into three main departments: Announcer, Engineer, and PD. The Announcers are responsible for serving as MCs at various events around the school, such as the annual festival that takes place at the end of the year. They have a crucial role in keeping the audience engaged and informed about what is happening at each event.
The Engineers in CBN are in charge of organizing and filming the events that occur at CSIA. They are also responsible for the management and maintenance of all the broadcasting equipment used by the club. Without their expertise, the events would not be captured and shared with the rest of the school.
Finally, the PDs in CBN are tasked with planning and preparing new content for the broadcasting department. They are responsible for creating scripts, storyboards, and other materials that help bring the events to life for the audience. Their creativity and attention to detail are essential in making sure that the content produced by CBN is engaging and informative.
In addition to their regular duties, members of CBN also play a key role in managing the club's presence on social media. Whether it's creating reels or other content to share with the school community, or simply promoting upcoming events, the members of CBN are always working hard to keep the school informed and engaged.
If you're interested in learning more about what CBN is up to, be sure to check out CSIA's official social media channels. You'll find a wealth of upcoming events, behind-the-scenes looks at the club's work, and content created by the CBN team, showcasing the incredible talent and dedication of our students.
