The newly formed CSIA club ICD collaborates with others to help disadvantaged students worldwide

A student at Cheongshim International Academy created a new club in her school called ICD. She aimed to collaborate with other schools and help students worldwide by writing an article about various career paths.

While researching, she saw a news article about Unesco and sustainable development goals. She encountered news articles showing various cases where many children were deprived of education due to financial limitations. This resonated deeply with her, a longing to help these underprivileged children. SDG #4 emphasizes quality education (Sustainable Development) for all. Different kinds of cases of children can't offer for their school & education. Through this, she came up with the thought of giving help to those kids and thought that if our school and other international schools cooperate. This would spread knowledge to help other students who need knowledge for the career path they want or any basic/new knowledge they need. She was enlightened by this thought and envisioned a collaborative effort among Cheongshim International School and other international institutions. By pooling resources and expertise, she strongly believes and hopes that it's possible to provide educational opportunities to those in need.

Her current goal is to utilize students' interests and help them figure out a career path for the future. The club will aim to create a platform for students worldwide to learn efficiently, focusing on career paths matching their interests, such as graphic design and article writing. It also hopes to help students improve their literature intellect, as well as their academic skills. Collaborating with others is not only to create a diverse community full of like-minded individuals but also to learn about various school curricula such as IB and AP. As well as school programs and campaigns.

Besides these, the club's primary goal is to collaborate with other schools to share knowledge and help students on their educational journey. We aim to create a platform for students worldwide to learn efficiently, focusing on career paths matching their interests, such as graphic design and writing. Collaborating with them means engaging in joint projects, like creating online platforms or running awareness campaigns. She recently had an interview with a different international school principal and planned to interview international school graduates about college attendance. She is also trying to extend the invitation to students from other international schools for potential collaboration.
